I am a wheel-based potter working with primarily stoneware clay. My work involves making bespoke commissions and collaborating with local businesses that value handcrafted, intentionally made tableware. This includes supplying local craft shops, coffee shops, and restaurants that prioritise handmade pottery for their food and drinks, as well as joining projects & exhibitions that explore raw materials, foraging, and rituals.

I come from a background in hospitality, which has afforded me an enormous value and admiration for independent businesses who strive in their own creative way, whether it be a small plate of locally sourced ingredients to an expertly brewed cup of coffee. I love being involved in this community and working with the faces of the industry.

I like my work to speak about the process and materials, purposefully leaving throwing rings, finger marks where I've dipped my pieces into glaze and any other ways of showing subtle makers marks where I can. I try not to shy away from how my hands have shaped the clay or glazed the piece and for me this brings a sort of magic, a narrative. I am fascinated by daily rituals and how we can enhance them with objects, our relationship to tradition and daily habits. Working with clay is about having a conversation with that material, from my hands forming the shape to its daily use of a coffee cup in your home or restaurant.
